Abstract
PURPOSE:To select reaction gasses simply and properly by switching several kinds of reaction gasses with a chemical ionization source and providing an acquiring means of the ionization measurement information, a means storing the measurement information for each reaction gas, and a means displaying the spectrum. CONSTITUTION:A reaction gas switching unit 4 has valves BA, BB, BC for each gas tank and has an exhaust valve BH on the vacuum pump side. The group of valves are controlled by a CPU, and various reaction gasses are fed in sequence to an ionization chamber 3 for one chromatogram peak. The sample component separated by a GC unit is detected by a TIC unit, and various reaction gasses are fed in sequence to the ionization chamber 3 while the total ion measurement signal has a detection peak. The mass spectrometry of the generated ions is performed by an MS unit, the measurement information is stored in a memory unit 7 for each reaction gas, and the CI spectrum is displayed by a display unit 9. The optimum reaction gas can be semi-automatically selected according to this constitution, the CI spectrum for the gas is obtained, thus the identification work of a sample is made quick and correct.
