Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the excellent weatherability and durability of the titled material by incorporating a spirooxazine type photochromic compd. and a specified antioxidant in a high polymer matrix. CONSTITUTION:The high polymer matrix contains the spirooxazine type compd. shown by formula I and a bisphenol compd. shown by formula II or III. In the formula, R<1>-R<4> are each hydrogen atom or aryl group, etc., ring X and Y are each a hydrocarbon aromatic ring or a heterocyclic aromatic ring which may be substd., Z is oxygen or sulfur atom, C and F are each alkyl group, D and E are each hydrogen atom or alkyl group, R is alkyl or vinyl group. Thus, the excellent weatherability and durability of the titled material are obtd.
