Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition containing a copolymer containing a specific fluorine-containing organopolysiloxane unit and a (meth)acrylic acid ester unit and effective in simultaneously imparting textiles with water and oil repellency and flexibility as well as excellent stain-proofing property. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition contains a fluorine-containing (meth) acrylate copolymer containing (A) a fluorine-containing organopolysiloxane compound composed of (i) a polyorganosiloxane of formula I containing (ii) the unit of formula II in an amount of >=0.02 [in terms of n/(m+n)] wherein 10-100% of the amino group in the formula II is substituted with the group of formula III [R1 is 1-6C alkylene; A is group of formula IV (l is 0-4); Rf is 4-20C fluorine-containing aliphatic group; Y is -C=O or -SO2] and (B) >=40wt.% of (meth)acrylic acid ester of formula V (p is 6-12; q is 1-4; R3 is H or lower alkyl) in the copolymer as a copolymerized unit.
