Abstract
PURPOSE:To uniformize quality of a product and to enable continuous recovery by dropping granular powder granulated on a sloping face, where is apart from there cover pit, over-flowing cooling water while flowing the powder toward the recovery pit direction and continuously carrying metal powder by a pump in the recovery pit. CONSTITUTION:Poured molten metal is granulated by blowing the atomizing water 5 to become the granular powder (a) and drop on the sloping face part 6a in the pit 6. The granular powder (a) is continuously rapid-cooled with the cooling water W supplied at the left side of the sloping face part 6a in the fatigue and solidified and also forcedly flowed into the recovery pit 20 from the sloping face part 6a by the water W over-flowing from the right side exceeding the bottom part 6b of the pit 6. Then, the metal powder A retained in the pit 20 is stirred and sucked up by a cutter fan of a transporting pump 30 and dewatered and dried through a transporting pipe. By this method, waving of the cooling water W is restrained and clogging of the atomizing nozzle 4 is prevented and the water level can be stabilized.
