Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent contamination washing water in a hot rinse vessel and to reduce consumption of glycol by arranging a shower washing vessel for a quenched product in quenching liquid mixing the water and the glycol at the front step of the hot rinse vessel and arranging a separating vessel for drainage of the washing vessel. CONSTITUTION:The shower washing vessel 6 is arranged at the front step of the hot rinse vessel 4 and also the separating vessel 7 for drainage supplied from the washing vessel 6 is arranged. The heated product 2 in a heating furnace 1 is dipped and quenched into the quenching liquid mixing the water and the glycol in a quenching vessel 3, and carried to the washing vessel 6, and the quenching liquid stuck to the product 2 from the quenching vessel 3 is washed out into the vessel 6 by the washing water injected from nozzles 14.
