Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent inclination and defect of a snow melting panel by a method wherein the base consists of a sand layer on the upper part of which the snow melting panels are laid or dry mixed mortar, a cobble stone layer, and soil, and nonwoven cloth is laid under the sand layer or the dry mixed mortar. CONSTITUTION: This base consists of soil 6, cobble stone layer 7, nonwoven cloth 9, and a sand layer or dry mixed mortar 8 from below to above in this order. A snow melt panel 4, where a hot water pipe 2 and reinforcing bars 3 are embedded in a panel body 1, such as concrete and asphalt, is laid on the sand layer or the dry mixed mortar 8. This constitution, even when rain falls, receives sand of the sand layer and mortar of the dry mixed mortar by the nonwoven cloth 9 and prevents entrance thereof to the interior of the cobble stone layer 7, whereby a road surface is prevented from forming an uneven surface and prevents inclination of the snow melt panel 4 and the occurrence of a defect and breakage of coupling part between the panels 4.
