Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the message conversion processing in a gateway or the like even in case of difference in address system among communication networks by providing a message, which is transmitted to each communication network, with header information related to routing information. CONSTITUTION:The message to be transmitted to each communication network is provided with header information (classification code) related to routing information. For example, in case of message transmission from a device C to a device B, the device C adds a classification code 63 (indicating routing information of communication network C communication network A communication network B) to the message and transmits it to communication networks. When the message destined for the device B is generated in gateways A and B in this case, a reception destination subaddress is extracted from the position and the number of bits, which are specified by the classification code, to generate a reception destination address.
