シート位置補正装置において、 シート搬送路に沿つてシートを搬送する２個の
ローラ対と、 これらのローラ対の間に配置され、シートをシ
ート搬送方向に対して横方向に移動させるシート
移動手段と、 上記各ローラ対のうちの下ローラを駆動する駆
動手段と、 上記各ローラ対のうちの上ローラを支持し、下
面にてシートを案内し、更に上ローラの回転軸線
から離れた軸線を中心として回動自在な２個のガ
イド部材と、 これらのガイド部材を各ローラ対の下ローラか
ら離れる方向へわずかに回動させるガイド部材持
上手段と、 該ガイド部材持上手段によつて少なくとも一方
のガイド部材を持ち上げてローラ対のローラ圧を
解除した後に、上記シート移動手段によつてシー
トを横方向に移動させる制御手段とを有すること
を特徴とするシート位置補正装置。 (2) 上記のガイド部材が、上記ガイド部材持上
手段による回動距離よりも更に大きく回動できる
