Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of defect parts on the surface and interior by bubbles and obtain synthetic granite having a high surface density and accuracy, by placing crushed stones and a synthetic polymer in a hermetically sealable container, decompressing the interior of the container while applying vibration and forming the above-mentioned crushed stones and synthetic polymer. CONSTITUTION:A metallic mold 2 is attached to a vibrator 1 and a material 3 consisting of crushed stones and a synthetic polymer is injected. The container is then provided with a sealed 5 and closed with a lid 4 made of a transparent synthetic polymer to operate the vibrator 1 and a vacuum pump 6. A regulator 7 is adjusted so as to slowly decompress the interior of the metallic mold 2 through a hose 8. Removal of bubbles is subsequently confirmed through the lid 4 and a required amount of the material 3 is then injected to continuously afford the aimed synthetic granite.
