Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 対向して配設されて郵便物等を狭持して搬送す
    る２本の搬送ベルトを有する供給搬送路と、前記
    供給搬送路の後方に配設され鋭角の先端部を後方
    に向けた三角形状の可動片と、前記可動片の後方
    において前記供給搬送路の前記搬送ベルトのうち
    の１本と対向して配設された第三の搬送ベルトを
    有して構成される主搬送路と、前記第三の搬送ベ
    ルトを駆動するプーリと、前記プーリの上下の位
    置において前記プーリを覆う形状に弯曲したカバ
    ー部を有し末端部の支点を中心とする回動運動自
    在な可動カバーと、前記可動片の下面および前記
    可動カバーを含んで構成される分岐搬送路と、前
    記可動片の前方に配設されて前記供給搬送路に搬
    送されてきた前記郵便物等を検知する検知手段と
    を備え、供給搬送路に搬送されてきた前記郵便物
    等の搬送経路を前記主搬送路から前記分岐搬送路
    に切替える必要があるとき、前記検知手段によつ
    て前記郵便物等が前記供給搬送路に来たことを検
    知して検知信号を送出し、この検知信号によつて
    可動片を作動させて前記郵便物の搬送経路を前記
    主搬送路から前記分岐搬送路に切替える動作を行
    い、この切替え動作と連動して前記可動カバーを
    動作させるように構成したことを特徴とする郵便
    物の搬送装置。
