Abstract

PURPOSE:To remove necessity for arranging a movable part, a bearing part or the like on a sensor part, to extend the life of a sensor and to simplify the assembling of the sensor by including a magnetic sensitive element changing its resistance value in accordance with the direction or intensity of a magnetic field and a permanent magnet contactlessly in a throttle body. CONSTITUTION:A storage space 8 is formed in the throttle body 1 and a connector 9 is fitted to the space 8. The magnetic sensitive element 11 is fixed on the connector 9 so as to be opposed to the permanent magnet 6. The pattern face of the element 11 is arranged so as to be approximately parallel with a parallel magnetic field 7 formed by the permanent magnet 6. The permanent magnet 6 is arranged so as to be rotated together with the rotation of a throttle valve 2 and a throttle shaft 3.
