    、回転デイスクを囲むカバー部を有し前記シヤフ
    トを回転可能に支持するハウジングと、前記回転
    デイスクに対応してハウジング内に設けられ回転
    デイスクの回転を光学的又は磁気的に検出して回
    転軸の回転角度又は回転速度を検出するセンサと
    を備えてなるエンコーダにおいて、 少なくとも前記シヤフトおよびハウジングが非
    金属性軽量材からなり、少なくとも前記ハウジン
    グにおけるセンサ固定面および前記シヤフトにお
    ける回転デイスク固定面に薄肉金属板からなる取
    付板が設けられていることを特徴とするエンコー
    ダ。 ２ 前記ハウジングにおけるシヤフト支持部に薄
    肉金属板のスリーブが設けられている実用新案登
    録請求の範囲第１項記載のエンコーダ。 ３ 前記カバー部における少なくとも表面に前記
    ハウジングの取付板と電気的に接続された薄肉金
