Abstract
PURPOSE:To shorten the time of initially loaded microprogram (IML) by reading out a microprogram from a storage device and writing only a writing microprogram in a self control storage by a microinstruction of itself. CONSTITUTION:An SVP 2 stores the whole microprogram to be loaded in a determined area of an MS. The SVP 2 writes a part of the microprogram in a CS 7 by scanning. A CSWTAR 1 is cleared to zero and a leading address is set up to read out a leading microinstruction from the MS. The contents of the MS are read out, written in a register of a leading instruction REG 14 and then written in the CS 7. Since the CSWTAR 1 is cleared to zero, data are written in the address '0' of the CS 7 and the addresses of the CTWTAR 1 and the MS are updated until the CSWTAR 1 reaches the final address.
