Abstract

PURPOSE:To automatically generate a design component list and to facilitate the revision of the design component list by giving specific attribute information in generating design drawings such as component drawings and assembling diagrams in a computer aided design (CAD) system. CONSTITUTION:The attribute information, an attribute ID and a command or the like entered from a data input section 1 to a data base generating section 2 are subjected to addition of attribution information, registration of ID information and generation of drawings and relevant component diagrams by the generating section 2. Then the result is fed to a drawing/component storage section 3, from which a design component list data base 16 is generated. Moreover, the information data relating to the list form of component list entered from the input section 1 is stored in a list form information file of a list form information storage section 6. Then a component list generating section 7, based on the data base 16, generates automatically a design component list based on the designated form stored in the storage section 6. In this case, automatic addition of the number of same components or the like, automatic integration or the like and display designation of generated write position and index line of the component list are set freely. Thus, the automatic generation of the design component list and its revision are facilitated.
