Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a resin composition having excellent impact resistance and flexural modulus, by mixing a polyamide resin with a specified modified olefin polymer composition prepared through treatment with an unsaturated carboxylic acid. CONSTITUTION:The title resin composition is prepared by mixing a polyamide resin with a modified olefin polymer composition mentioned below so as to provide an amount of the polyamide resin of 50-95wt.% based on the total mixture. Said modified olefin polymer composition is prepared by mixing an olefin multipolymer (I) made from comonomers in which the content of an alpha,beta-ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic ester is 0.1-50wt.% and that of a dibasic unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative is 0.05-20wt.% with a copolymer (II) of at least ethylene and a 3C or higher alpha-olefin, said multipolymer I and copolymer II having been each treated with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative in the presence of a radical-polymerization initiator, so that either of these modified olefin polymers amounts to 1-99wt.% of this mixture.
