Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a polyamide resin compsn. which gives polyamide articles having a toughness and a flexibility, by blending two polyamides having respective specific viscosities with an impact modifier at a specified ratio. CONSTITUTION:A polyamide (A) having a relative viscosity of at least 3, pref. 3.5-4.5, as measured according to Item 4,4 of JIS K-6610-1977 is blended with an impact modifier (B) and a polyamide (C) having a relative viscosity lower than 3, pref. 1.8-2.9, at a ratio of (B) to [(A)+(B) of 7-30wt.%, [(A)+(B)] to [(A)+(B)+(C)] of 50-95wt.%, and (C) to [(A)+(B)+(C)] of 50-5wt.% to prepare a polyamide resin compsn. Pref. polyamides to be used include 6-polyamide and/or 6.6-polyamide. Examples of the impact modifier include ethylene- ethyl acrylate copolymers and ethylene-propylene copolymer rubbers.
