  1. 感光体に対向して設けられたコロナ放電装置と
    、コロナ放電装置と感光体との間に配置されたグ
    リツド電極と、グリツド電極を移動可能に支持し
    てグリツド電極と感光体間の距離を任意に設定す
    ることが可能な支持手段とを備え、かつ、グリツ
    ド電極と感光体間の距離を変化させて感光体の表
    面電位を調整することを特徴とする感光体の帯電
    装置。
