Abstract

PURPOSE:To selectively read different pieces of information out of the same recording medium by inexpensive, simple constitution by recording an information while adding read classification signal by sections of the signal, and reading and reproducing only the information signal to which the read classification signals are added. CONSTITUTION:A video format signal as the information signal is supplied to a signal separating circuit 22, an identification signal generating circuit 25 generates read classification signals with the signal of a setting circuit 26, puts them together into timing pulses, and supplies them to a composing circuit 24, thereby recording the signal where the read classification signals are superposed on a recording medium 29. When this signal is reproduced, the signal of a disk 1 is demodulated by a demodulating circuit 5 into the video format signal and audio signal, a data detecting circuit 8 demodulates the superposed read classification signals, and a controller 9 stores them in a memory 10. An operator performs reproduction through a keyboard 11 according to read classifications. Thus, different pieces of information are read out of the same recording medium selectively according to the purpose.
