Abstract
PURPOSE:To refuge a magnetic head from the surface of a disk with simple constitution by abutting a movable member on a slanting surface formed at an end part of a head carriage and slanting the carriage slightly at the front and rear movement ends of the carriage. CONSTITUTION:Recessed parts 16A and projection parts 16B are formed alternately at the tip part of the head carriage 10 which has the magnetic head mounted on its horizontal surface 12, and connected successively by slanting surfaces 16a. When the carriage 10 moves to a home position or end position through the rotation of a lead shaft 20, the projection part 31a of a lever 31 which rotates clockwise by being driven by a bistable solenoid 30 moves in abutting position from a recessed part 16A to a projection part 16B and then the carriage 30 slants left against a spring 17, so that the head 14 leaves the disk MD. Thus, the magnetic head is easily refuged by the simple constitution to eliminate the deformation of the disk due to a state wherein the head abuts on the disk continuously.
