Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce a transmission loss and need no transformers, by using a high-temperature superconductor transmission line. CONSTITUTION:The output of a generating set 1 is interlinked by an interlink line 100, and is interlinked again by an interlink line 200 via a combination line 150, and is fed to the inverter 170 of each demander via a combination line 250 and interlink lines 300, 400. Each interlink line is provided with a power- storing secondary-battery 450 and a superconducting power storing device 460. For the lines of these power systems, high-temperature superconductors usable at the high temperature of several 10K or higher are used. As a result, transmission loss is reduced, and transmission voltage can be set to come to 1000V or lower, and so transformers are not needed.
