Abstract

PURPOSE: To make the main body of a nacella, which supports an endless chain on a side part thereof, ascend and descend under a condition that it is held by a wall face of a building or the like, and improve the wall face cleanability by mounting the suckers on the points of the rods which are radially connected to the links of the endless chain through the springs in such manner that they can be expanded and contracted. CONSTITUTION: On the suckers 14 mounted on a chain 8 through the rods 13, the suction pressure in accompany with the operation of a vacuum pump 39, is supplied to the suckers 14 positioned on the wall face side of a building or the like, through the valves 27, and the suckers 14 are sucked to the wall face. When a wrench is driven, and a main body such as a nacella is made to ascend and descend under this condition, the suckers 14 are respectively moved along a track of a guide rail 7 with the chain 8, and the suckers on the wall face side are kept in the sucked condition by the valves 27 which are opened and closed by this movement. Whereby the main body can be surely held by the suckers sucked on the wall face of a building or the like, during the stop or movement of the main body.
