Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain tea of Chinese medicine having effects on diabetes, nutrition and health free from side effects, containing dried and ground plant of the family Betulaceae, ginseng, skin of watermelon and bean sprouts as essential components. CONSTITUTION:Tea of Chinese medicine containing active ingredients obtained by blending 50% dried and ground plant of the family Betulaceae with 20% leaves of ginseng, 10% adlay and about 20% others (bean sprouts, skin of watermelon, corn floss, Ganoderma lucidum, bud of chrysanthemum, seed of peach, leaf of Japanese bladder cherry, powdered Cinnamon bark and mugwort). The tea of Chinese medicine containing these components can be administered without anxiety of hypoglycemia, lactic acidosis and other side effects. In use, a bag with about 5g mixture is added to 1.8l water, boiled and decocted for about 10min daily.
