Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a pattern card for Jacquard machine capable of keeping from miss-holding of hooks with a pattern-flowing device due to bending of the hook-side fold by providing simple 2nd folds. CONSTITUTION: This pattern card for Jacquard machine consists of a pattern card 6 comprising a belt-like sheet S having pattern holes 9 corresponding to texture assembly, 1st folds 8 setting in width cross direction W at a specified longitudinal interval and zigzag bending and hooks 11 are fitted to some of the above mentioned 1st folds 8 which hold the pattern card 6 to a pattern- flowing device. One or more of 2nd folds 13 for preventing fold-bending are provided in the neighborhood of hook-side folds 8x at fitting side from the edge to the center of the pattern card 6 and so the pattern card is prevented from so called dent generation.
