Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a piezo-electric element from being deformed and damaged, by vibrating a diaphragm with the use of the piezo-electric element which vibrates to generate a sound wave, so as to operate a flow control main valve. CONSTITUTION:A piezo-electric element 17 vertically vibrates in accordance with an input signal to an input signal 21. The vibration of the piezo-electric element 17 generates a sound pressure which is amplified by a resonating chamber 15a so as to vertically vibrate a diaphragm 18 and a plunger 22. When the plunger 22 is vertically vibrated, a nozzle 13 is opened and closed to vary the fluid pressure of a working fluid chamber 7a so as to open and close a poppet 5. Due to the frequency of opening and closing operation of the poppet 5 and the opening degree thereof, it is possible to control the flow of fluid toward an outlet port 2 at given pressure.
