Abstract
PURPOSE: To measure a frame shape by bringing a filler into contact with the V-shaped groove of a lens frame and detecting the three-dimensional moving quantity of the filler.
CONSTITUTION: After a holding device part 100 holding the frame is inserted into a supporting device 200, a Y-axis motor 22 is rotated so that the central point of the circular aperture of the device part 100 and the center of a rotary shaft 304 of a measuring part 300 are approximately aligned. The filler 356 comes into contact with the V-shaped groove of the lens frame at this time. A sensor head part 312 moves on rails 311 according to the moving diameter of the lens frame when a motor 301 is rotated at every unit number of revolution pulses. The moving quantity is read by a magnetic scale 314 and a reading head 313. The shape of the lens frame is measured from the rotating angle of the motor 301 and the read quantity from the head 313. The geometrical center of the lens frame is determined from these sets of the measurement data and is aligned to the center of rotation of a sensor arm 302 by driving X-, Y-axis motors 206, 224, by which the shape of the lens frame is measured again. The moving quantity of the head 312 in the Z-axis direction is simultaneously measured as well at this time. The three-dimensional information on the shape of the lens frame is thus obtd.
