Abstract

CONSTITUTION:A counter 11, a count-enable pulse generating circuit 5 and a burst gate setting circuit 12 triggered when the counter 11 counts the 1st count, inverting its output level, inverting its output level again when the 2nd count is counted and giving a burst gate pulse with a prescribed pulse width as an output, are provided. Thus, the generating timing of the burst gate pulse and its pulse width are changed automatically so as to match the change in the horizontal synchronizing signal. Thus, the color burst is extracted accurately.
