Abstract

PURPOSE:To relieve the load of a central controller and to detect a synchronizing control fault early by applying synchronizing operation of a channel section by a control section of a channel controller to be duplicated. CONSTITUTION:In case of receiving a command of a synchronizing operation mode from a central controller, control line selection elements 7, 8 of each system select a control line LCO of an active system 1 and a control section 3 of the active system 1 forms a path for channel sections 5, 6 of each system for the synchronizing control. Then every time the control section 3 of the active system 1 receives channel control information from the central controller, control is applied simultaneously to the channel sections 5, 6 of each system via the control line LCO. Moreover, the control section 3 of the active system 1 compares the operating state of the channel sections of both the systems at all times by an operating state comparing element 9 via monitor lines LS0, LS1 to apply logical comparison thereby always confirming the normality of the synchronizing control of the channel sections.
