Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve strength at a rib/boss part by facilitating intrusion of a fiber into the rib/boss part, by a method wherein a reinforced layer is formed of a plurality of mats composed of fibrous substance, laminated and a sheetlike matter composed of the same and thermoplastic resin is impregnated under heating and pressurization for integration. CONSTITUTION:Thermoplastic resin 2 is extruded through a die 10 of an extruding machine and heated between supporting belts 11 by a heating unit 13 along with a mat composed of fibrous substance. Then after the same has been sent for integration while pressurizing by a pressurizing roll 12, the same is cut off appropriately by a cutting blade 14 and a stamping molding material 7 is formed. It is preferable to make use of a glass fiber or a carbon fiber especially solely or through mixing, in fibrous substance 3. Then it is preferable that the surface of the fiber is treated with such a treatment agent that gives suitable adhesion for thermoplastic resin to be used, for example, a silane coupling agent.
