Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the effect of the offset error generated with the amplification, filtering and detection in a detection system, by subtracting the DC offset error obtained at the time of non-detection from detection data. CONSTITUTION:At the time of the non-detection of a signal, change-over switches 12g1, 12g2 are closed and change-over switches 12i1, 12i2 are opened and the DC offset errors due to amplifiers 12b1, 12b2, filters 12e1, 12e2 and an oscillator 12c are held to offset registers 12h1, 12h2. Next, at the time of the detection of the signal, the change-over switches 12g1, 12g2 are opened while the change-over switches 12i1, 12i2 are closed and the magnetic resonance signal detected by a probe 4 is amplified by a preamplifier 12a and further amplified by the amplifiers 12b1, 12b2 to be detected in a phase and unnecessary signal components are removed by the filters 12e1, 12e2. Thereafter, said signal is converted to a digital signal by sample holding circuit built-in A/D converters 12f1, 12f2 to be taken in subtractors 12j1, 12j2.
