Abstract
PURPOSE: To cover and protect the outer surface of a spherical body with a smooth spherical surface by injecting a synthetic resin liquid into a spherical die storing the spherical body, and rotating the die around axes perpendicular to each other. CONSTITUTION: The peripheral end faces of spherical halved members 15b are butted and sealed on the peripheral end faces of spherical halved members 15a storing a spherical body B having the diameter smaller than that of a die 15 printed with characters or decorative patterns on the outer surface. An injection pipe 26 is connected to an injection port 21, and a filming synthetic resin liquid is filled in the die 15 while the internal air is released from an overflow port 27. The injection pipe 26 is removed, and the injection port 21 and overflow port 27 are closed. Electric motors 2, 14 are driven, and the filming synthetic resin liquid is solidified while the die 15 are driven and rotated around the axes P1, P2 perpendicular to each other. The work is simplified, and a film can be formed at a low cost by this method. The outer surface is made smooth over the whole area, and the commodity value is increased.
