Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve safety by engaging and disengaging a hook to and from a fixed pin by a rocking arm rocked by remote control through a turning plate and a link in a locking device for the above door of a container loaded on a transport car body. CONSTITUTION:With a hook 15 of a locking device 7 engaged with a fixed pin 17, a cylinder 23 is expanded to rock a rocking arm 21. Whereupon an engaging cam 12 and a turning plate 13 are rotated counterclockwise through a cam follower 24 and the hook 15 is rotated clockwise to be disengaged from the fixed pin 17. Thus, a closing door 4 can be opened. On the contrary, when the cylinder 23 is contracted, the operation is reversed to engage the hook 15 onto the fixed pin 17. A link 14 and the turning plate 13 are put in the state of bending over an axis X to the lower and upper sides in the drawing by operating an adjusting screw 20 to lock the door. In this arrangement, the safety can be improved and locking can be kept stable over a long period of time.
