Abstract

PURPOSE: To manufacture contoured goods having good sound absorption and loosening proof for temperature change by sewing fibers of the butt into the form and coating and drying plastic binder on the butt. CONSTITUTION: The 1st web machine 33 piles separated fibers on the butt 28 at random. Reinforcement mat 26 and foam material 24 are supplied from the roll 34 and the roll 36 respectively. The 2nd web machine 38 piles separated fibers on the 2nd butt 30 at random. Some fibers of fiber butt are stuffed into the foam by needles 48 when the web 40 is passing through the cutter 42. The web 50 is placed on a guide roll 51 and passed through the bubble foam binder applicator 52 to disperse thermoplastic binder into non-woven fabric butt 28, 30.
