Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate sorting and arrangement by providing a means for retreating sheet materials filed through operation of a filing means or sheet materials requiring no filing from operating position of the filing means. CONSTITUTION:In a facsimile, a recording sheet 8 recorded with received data through a recording head 11 and outputted through a pair of rollers 15, 16 is cut into predetermined length with cutters 13, 14 with the tip thereof being regulated by a stop member 22B in a recording sheet holder 22, then suspended from an outlet 27 and lapped over previously recorded sheets. When a set of sheet corresponding to single communication are outputted, a cam board 35 is rotated by a motor 32 and a stapler board 42 is passed through the tip of a staple magazine 51 by means of a cam pawl portion 35A so as to file the sheets in co-operation with an anvil, then retreats. When single sheet is fed for single communication, the motor 32 rotates reversely to carry out no filing operation, but an elongated retractable board 38 is projected through a notch window 22C through forward/reverse rotation of the motor 32 so as to retract recording sheets 81... from the anvil 44. Consequently, sorting and arrangement are facilitated.
