Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve service to users by discriminating a specific person by a card or key to unlock the front entrance, registering call for an elevator, and registering call for a target floor for the specific person in the elevator. CONSTITUTION: As a specific card of each person is inserted into a card reader 3 provided close to the entrance, a code converter 9 in a micro-computer 8 converts a read code to be sent through a logical circuit 10 to a collating circuit 11. The collating circuit 11 collates it with stored PIN codes in a memory circuit 12, and when it coincides with one of them, a door opening/closing contact 15 is closed to unlock the entrance for a specified time through a control circuit 13. While the person gets closer to an elevator, a contact 16 is closed to register call for the elevator, and a destination floor 14-2-14-n corresponding to a target floor for the person read by his/her card is registered. Waiting time for the user can thus be reduced, and operation is facilitated even for the user having baggage on both hands, thereby service is improved.
