Abstract

NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I [Ar is (substituted)alkyl- substituted naphthyl or (substituted)phenyl; R is methyl or ethyl; Y is O or S; B is formula II or III (Z is O, S, CO or CH2; R1 is H, halogen, alkyl or alkoxy; n is 1W5), except 3-phenoxybenzyl 2-(4-ethoxyphenyl)-2-methylpropyl ether and compound expressed by formula IV (R2 is halogen or alkyl; m is 1 or 2].
EXAMPLE: 3-(4-Methoxyphenoxy)benzyl 2-(4-methylphenyl)-2-methylpropyl ether.
USE: An insecticide and acaricide.
PREPARATION: A compound expressed by formula V is reacted with a compound expressed by the formula B-CH2-D [either of A and D is halogen and the other is expressed by the formula Y-M (M is H, alkaline or alkaline earth metal) or both are OH] to afford the aimed compound expressed by formula I.
