Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce air consumption and to improve shock absorbing performance by variably controlling a frequency band, used for restraining a car body vibration, of an acceleration signal according to the situation of a road surface on the basis of a signal issued from a bandwidth variable signal generator having a function for judging whether the road surface is good or bad. CONSTITUTION:Air is injected into or exhausted from an air suspension system 1 by opening and closing an injection valve 21 and an exhaust valve 22 of a flow control valve 2. The relative displacement of the air suspension system 1 on an upper and a lower side of a spring is detected by a ground clearance sensor 3, and acceleration on the upper and the lower side of the spring is detected by an acceleration sensor 4. A ground clearance signal is inputted into a flow indicating signal generator 7, and on the other hand, as to an acceleration signal, only the signal having passed through a variable band low range passing filter 5 is inputted into the flow indicating signal generator 7. In this case, the above-mentioned filter variably controls the upper limit value of passing range on a band width variable signal issued from a bandwidth variable signal generator 6 having a function for judging whether a road surface is good or bad.
