Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the after-hardening property of the titled material, and to stabilize the photographic characteristics of said material, by curing at least one layer of a gelatin contg. layer with at least one kind of a hardener having a group capable of releasing by a reaction with a nucleophilic reagent, and by incorporating a specified high polymer compd. in said gelatin contg. layer. CONSTITUTION:At least one layer of the gelatin contg. layer is cured by at least one kind of the hardener having the group capable of releasing by a reaction with the nucleophilic reagent, and also contains the high polymer compd. having sulfonic acid group, sulfinic acid group or its salt. And, the group capable of releasing by a reaction with the nucleophilic reagent is meant by a group capable of releasing by reacting said reagent with carboxylic group or amino group contd. in the gelatin, and is exemplified by halogen atom or alkylsulfonyloxy group, etc., and preferably halogen atom, more preferably chlorine atom. Thus, the after-hardening property of the titled material is reduced, and the photographic characteristics of said material is stabilized.
