Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent damage and deformation of a roll product, by enveloping the outside of the product together with protecting members thereof by a packing sheet, attaching the protectors, having doughnut form end surfaces with a larger outside diameter than the roll product, to the both ends of the winding core of the product. CONSTITUTION:A thin web is wound up on a cylindrical winding core 12 to form a roll product 10. Protecting members 14, having doughnut form (ring shape) end surfaces with a larger outside diameter than the roll product, are fitted at the both ends respectively and enveloped together with the roll product by a packing sheet 16. Further, protector plates 18 are applied closely to the protecting members fitted with the product ends and cover the protecting member 14 together with the packing sheet from the outside in order to prevent damage and deformation of the ends and surface of the product. And furthermore, the enveloped roll product is fixed securely with the fitting members 20 at the both ends of the winding core not to contact the floor.
