Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to simply and surely eliminate the difference in rotational speed between front and rear wheels by establishing closed circuits with the use of variable displacement type front and rear wheels drive pumps and motors which are associated with a steering wheel so as to increase the speed of the front wheels in accordance with the radius of turn during turning operation of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:Charge pumps 4 are incorporated to variable displacement type front and rear wheel drive pumps PF, PR which are mounted to an engine E. Further, a plurality of closed circuits are established with the use of the variable displacement type pump PF and a motor MF for driving front wheels, and the variable displacement type pump PR and a motor MR for driving rear wheels. The variable displacement, type pumps PR, PF are incorporated therein with swash plates 3, 9, respectively, as speed changing devices, which are then coupled to a single speed change lever T. Further, the variable displacement type front wheel drive motor MF is arranged to change the rotational speed of a motor shaft 7 in association with the rotational speed of the swash plate 2 which is in turn associated with a steering wheel 1.
