Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition capable of providing rubber product having excellent heat resistance and endurance, by blending an epoxy group- containing elastomer with a specific imidazolebis compound at a definite ratio. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100pts.wt. epoxy group-containing elastomer (e.g. glycidylmethacrylate) is blended with (B) 0.4-4pts.wt., preferably 0.5-3pts.wt. imidazolebis compound expressed by the formula (R1, R'1 are H, 1-15C alkyl, cyanoethyl or benzyl; R2 and R'2 are 1-17C alkyl or phenyl; R3 and R'3 are H or 1-5C alkyl; X is integer of 1-4) to provide the aimed composition.
