Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform high accuracy electric discharge machining for a short time by supplying first large current to a rough working electrode in incombustible liquid for rough working and then supplying small current to a finishing electrode in combustible fluid for finishing. CONSTITUTION:A male mold blank Wm and female mold blank Wf are fixed to a workpiece support plate 3 and male and female mold rough working electrodes 6, 7 are fixed on an electrode support plate 5 so that a working tank 2 is filled with incombustible fluid 8 and about 200-800A of large current is supplied for rough working by in-liquid discharge.
