CONSTITUTION:A front-side clamping means 23 loads and unloads a grinding wheel 22 to a wheel spindle 4 of a grinding machine 3 through the advance and retract of a movable frame 5, and the grinding wheel 22 or a grindstone 2 held by a back-side clamping means 23 is exchanged with a new one in a retracted position of the movable frame 5. And, a used grindstone 2 held by the front-side clamping means 23 is moved to the back-side by inversely turning a turning member 21, and at the same time, a new grindstone 2 held by the back-side clamping means 23 is moved to the front-side. In this construction, the alignment of the grindstone-exchanging device with the wheel spindle 4 is not needed, the grinding wheel 22 can be easily loaded and unloaded, and the old grindstone 2 is rationally exchanged with the new one in a position separated from the operating grinding machine 3.
