Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve mountability of air-conditioner onto a vehicle having small cross-section by passing conditioned air fed from an air-conditioner arranged below the floor of a rolling stock through an air channel arranged in the floor and a portion of side structure then delivering through a line flow delivery port into passenger room. CONSTITUTION:Conditioned air is fed from an air-conditioner 1 arranged below the floor of a rolling stock through an air channel formed by hermetically closing the upper and lower faces of a gap between lateral beams of frame with cover plates 3, 4 and a port 7 communicated with the side structure into the side structure. The side beam 5 and the cover plate 4 are utilized to provide a guide vane 6 for reducing wind resistance. A lining board 16 and a keystone plate 15 are utilized to provide a block board 14 for blocking air flow to the keystone plate 15 section. Conditioned air entered into the side structure is passed through a vent 12 arranged at a web portion of side post between the side beam 5 and a lateral beam 8 below a window and fed entirely in longitudi nal direction of passenger room then delivered through a line flow delivery port 9 into the passenger room.
