PURPOSE:To simplify the construction of a rear wheel steering device by connecting the piston rods projected from right and left portions of a single cylinder device to trailing arms holding rear wheel supports and connecting right and left working chambers of the cylinder device to a reservoir through electromagnetic throttle valves. CONSTITUTION:Right and left rear shafts 18 are rotatably held by rear wheel supports 10 respectively, and are rotated by the motion power of an engine. In this case, the rear wheel supports 10 are held by a car body 30 through upper arms 11, lower arms 12 and trailing arms 13 which are held vertical motion-freely. In addition, the pointed ends of the piston rods 23 projected from right and left portions of a cylinder device 20 which is fixed to the car body 30 between rear wheels 19 are connected to near the rear ends of the trailing arms 13 through working links 25. The right and left working chambers 20a, 20b of the cylinder device 20 are communicated to a reservoir 39 through electromagnetic throttle valves 38a, 38b so that the fluid pressure in respective working chambers 20a, 20b is controlled so as to control a steering angle.
