Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled yarn prepared by spinning of spinning stock solution with low concentration without causing clogging of extrusion resulting from drying and coagulation, by using an organic solvent having compatibility with water as a coagulating bath, spinning an aqueous solution of aluminum compound to give precursor yarn and calcining the yarn. CONSTITUTION:An organic solvent (preferably DMF or dimethyl sulfoxide) having compatibility with water is used as a coagulating bath and an aqueous solution comprising an aluminum compound [preferably basic aluminum chloride shown by the formula Al2(OH)6-xClx.nH2O (x is 0.5-3)] as a main component is spun to give precursor yarn. The precursor yarn is calcined to give the aimed yarn.
