Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the characteristic suited to the location and the use by providing an external setting means which arbitrarily sets a degree limiting the maximum value, in the case of an engine limiting the maximum value of fuel injection in accordance with a deviation of boost pressure at the time of acceleration. CONSTITUTION:A fuel injection pump 2 is regulated in its injection amount of fuel by moving a fuel rack (not shown) through a lever 10 by an actuator 3 while in the timing of injection by changing a cam phase through a lever 11 by an actuator 4. The injection amount of fuel and its injection timing are calculated by a control part 20 in accordance with an engine operative condition. While in this control part 20, the maximum value of an injection amount of fuel is limited in accordance with a difference of boost pressure when the boost pressure in the time of acceleration reaches no boost pressure in the steady time. Here providing a limitation regulator 16 in the control part 20, the degree of limiting the maximum value of the fuel injection amount can be arbitrarily set.
