Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve a reflection loss characteristic and an isolation characteristic by according electric length in both an odd and an even number modes with each other, by providing a slot line for phase compensation. CONSTITUTION:The length of a coupling slot line 23 is set at 1/4 of the length in an odd mode, and the slot line 31 for the phase compensation is inserted between an input/output slot line 26 and a coupling slot line 23. The slot line 31 for the phase compensation 31 is constituted so that it can be provided with character impedance with double that in an even mode, and the sum of the length of the slot line 31 for the phase compensation and that of the coupling slot line 23 is set at 1/4-wavelength. Therefore, since that part functions as a line with 1/4-wavelength for both even and odd modes, it is possible to eliminate a difference of electric length between both modes. In such a way, it is possible to improve the reflection loss characteristic and the isolation characteristic.
