Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a composite resin composition improved in heat resistance, mold shrinkage characteristics, surface properties, toughness, etc. and moldable in a liquid state, which comprises an unsaturated polyester resin curing system containing an unsaturated polyester resin having a specific structure and an epoxy resin curing system. CONSTITUTION:A curable resin composition for molding is prepared by blending an unsaturated polyester resin curing system (A) and an epoxy resin curing system (B) with the weight ratio of A to B of 80/20-20/80, the unsaturated polyester resin in the above system (A) having a Diels-Alder adduct structure in the main chain. The above modified unsaturated polyester resin is produced by reacting an unsaturated polyester resin having a dienophilic structure with a diene compound to form a Diels-Alder adduct structure (an alicyclic structure) in the main chain. A composite resin composition improved in compatibility and excellent in heat resistance, mold shrinkage characteristics, surface properties and toughness after the molding can be provided by compounding (A) and (B) curing systems.
