Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase flame temp. by a method wherein at the place ranging from the tip of a supply pipe for pulverized fuel to a flame ejecting port an ejecting port for mixed streams and a combustion chamber diverging in conical shape are installed and supply pipes for primary and secondary combustion support gas are formed in specified conical slits. CONSTITUTION:At the tip of a supply pipe 4 for pulverized coal a column- shaped ejecting port 5 for mixed streams and at the tip of the port 5 a conical combustion chamber 6 diverging toward the tip of an inner cylinder 3 are formed and its tip is formed as a flame ejecting port 7. A supply pipe 8 for combustion support gas is formed between the pipe 4 and an outer cylinder 2 and the port 8 is interconnected to the port 5 and the chamber 6 by supply pipes 9, 10 for primary and secondary combustion support gas respectively. The pipe 9 is formed in a cylindrical slit shape and gradual reduction in its diameter toward the port 5. The pipe 10 is formed into bored holes 12a-12c converging on the axial line l of a burner nozzle 1. By this constitution, the improvement in combustion efficiency and the increase in flame temp. can be achieved.
