Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a nonlinear resistor chemically stable against SF6 gas by adding specific PPM of fluorine to an element assembly. CONSTITUTION:The powder of bismuth oxide cobalt oxide, manganese oxide, antimony oxide and nickel oxide is added respectively to the powder of zinc oxide within a range of 0.5-5%, and 1-1000PPM of fluorine is added to the shape of lead fluoride. Consequently, since there is fluorine in an element assembly, one part of oxygen is replaced with fluorine, and stable phase to SF6 gas is acquired. The quantity of fluorine is 1-1000PPM because 1PPM or less does not display an effect for improving service lifetime characteristics in SF6 gas and 1000PPM or more deteriorates the nonlinearity of a small current region. Accordingly, a nonlinear resistor functioning as stable phase against SF6 gas is acquired.
